"An existential epic but at the same time a performance. It represents something that must be fundamental to the human race. From photo-albums and record collections to Ferdinand Cheval's palace, we all build monuments representing ourselves and our time.
Taking off from mythological and allegorical characters we created a ritual celebrating music and art at the last breath of humanity. But to me it came to be just as much about the individuals behind the masks and cameras. This was our ritual. We created our monument."
